The tools on this site

The prompt builder, the answer lab and the cost calculator all run locally in your browser. Prompt Workbook does not store or transmit what you type into them.

Be careful anyway

Remove personal data, passwords, API keys, trade secrets and other sensitive material before you copy a prompt into an external AI service. That service's own terms and privacy policy apply once you paste the text there.

Training and retention are different questions

A provider saying customer data is not used for model training does not mean data is never stored. Retention varies between consumer products, business products, the API, individual features, regions and any third-party tools connected on top. Check the specific service and its data processing terms before production use.

Analytics, only if you allow it

We use Google Analytics to see which pages people find useful. It is switched off by default. No request is made to Google, and no analytics cookie is set, unless you actively choose to allow it in the banner. If you decline, the script is never loaded at all, and everything on this site keeps working.

Your choice is stored locally in your browser so we do not ask again. Clearing your browser storage for this site resets it. When analytics is allowed we run it with advertising storage, ad personalisation and ad user data all denied, and with IP anonymisation on.

Technical logs

The web server keeps ordinary, short-lived operational and security logs. There are no user accounts and no advertising profiling on this site.
